Adopt a Family is the chance to step into that moment and change it in a very real way. You help make sure a child wakes up believing Santa made it to their house.

How It Works

Three simple steps.

Complete the sponsor form

Fill out the online sponsor form. Beginning November 10, you'll receive family profiles and wish lists tailored to your preferences.

Choose a family

Each profile includes names, ages, and a short description of the family in addition to their wishlist. Review your options and select the one that feels right to you.

Shop & schedule drop-off

Purchase any or all items on the wish list, then schedule your drop-off and deliver the gifts to Phoenix Family before December 13. Book your drop-off time online or call 816.612.8842.

How can I adopt a family? +
Complete the online sponsor form. Our team will follow up with available family profiles and next steps as soon as profiles are ready.
Can my group adopt a family? +
Yes. Many groups, departments, and extended families adopt together. It's a great way to make the holiday season meaningful as a team.
Do I choose the family? +
Yes. You'll receive several profiles and can select the one that feels right — each includes names, ages, and a short family description.
How do I know what to buy? +
Each family provides a wish list with sizes, preferences, and gift ideas. You can purchase any or all items on the list.
How does drop-off work? +
All deliveries must be scheduled in advance during the December 2–13 window. Staff will assist you when you arrive at 3908 Washington St., Kansas City.
