Help make the holiays bright for all families
The generosity of the community makes it possible for Phoenix Family to ensure that families are able to keep the power on, that kids have a special gifts to celebrate the holidays and that families have food on their tables this winter.
Without the support of the community, none of this is possible. The struggling economy continues to put a greater demand on Phoenix Family services while donations are shrinking. This year, your support is crucial. Listed below are a few ways that you can help make an important difference.

Phoenix Family’s Adopt-a-Family program matches generous donors with families and seniors who otherwise would not be able to celebrate the holidays. Consider adopting a family or a senior this holiday season.
Donate directly to our Adopt A Family and Adopt a Senior Programs. Each cash donation will be combined with other gifts for families and seniors who were not directly adopted for the holidays. Your gift of any amount will help ensure a wonderful holiday for our families. Click here to donate.
Organize your community or business group to hold a fund drive for Phoenix Family. Please contact us for more information.
Food is needed year around, but especially during the holidays. Our greatest needs are for nonperishable items needed year-round, such as the following:
- Tuna or other canned meat
- Peanut Butter
- Pasta or Rice
- Cereal
- Soup
- Canned Fruit & Tomato Products
- Vegetable Oil
- Dried Milk
- Grocery Store Gift Certificates
Additionally, we are in need of holiday staples such as flour, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, canned green beans, etc. Whatever you would like for the holidays, the people we serve would also appreciate it.If your group is planning to organize a food drive for the holidays, please contact Laurel Groh at 816.612.8841.
